Work Package 5: The role of firms and communities

What we do:
We aim to better understand the role of firms and collaborations since they have a significant impact on a country’s energy consumptions. Studying them will result in more accurate models and pathways for the Swiss energy transition.
Objectives:
1. Investigation of the role of firms and business challenges.
2. Investigation of the role of energy communities / PEDs.
3. Investigation of the linkage of scenarios and actor behavior.
4. Improve the model integration of coordinated actors in energy system modeling and scenarios.
